I grew up in Southern California, walking from my home each year to the Rose Parade. I love the beach and the ocean. My husband and I have three daughters and a son. We also have three sons-in-law and 9 grandchildren. We have lived on the West Coast, East Coast, Midwest, and in the Rocky Mountains. My hobbies include reading, quilting, weaving, drawing, traveling, and others. I have visited all of the continents besides Antarctica. I began teaching at UCAS when we were all at the Orem campus. I have been teaching at the Provo campus since it opened. My favorite books to teach are Les Miserables and Dandelion Wine.
